We are delighted to sponsor Flora Eckert, who plays for the York City under 12 girls football team.
Flora who lives in York started playing football at 3-years-old with her brother in the garden and then joined the Haxby Town Juniors at the age of four.
A big Liverpool fan – Colombian winger Luis Diaz is her favourite Red player – Flora is also a fervent supporter of the England Lionesses and is inspired by the footballing skills and scoring power of England star Lauren Hemp.
Flora told us the success of the national team makes her even more determined to be a Lioness and, in the future, she hopes to play in the Women’s Super League and be selected for England.
